\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Members of the graduating class of 2023 who plan to enroll in post-secondary programs this fall must complete their applications through the Community Foundation\u2019s online scholarship portal by Wednesday, March 15<\/b>. The application portal may be accessed at bit.ly\/nnycf-scholarships<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Tri-county high school seniors who will enroll as full-time undergraduates this fall may apply. Students pursuing technical, trade or vocational school may also apply and should complete the same application. All students should thoroughly read all application instructions.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Since 1980, the Community Foundation has awarded more than $21 million in scholarships to students who live in the tri-county region. In addition to its own scholarship awards, the Community Foundation annually administers nearly 450 scholarships established by individual donors, business and organizations as well as scholarship funds on behalf of 32 school districts across the three counties.<\/p>\n \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>\u201cIt is important to know that there are a wide range of scholarship opportunities for all types of students and educational interests. There is more assistance overall, and, increasingly, donors have been looking to help those who may not receive support from other sources,\u201d said Rande Richardson, Community Foundation executive director. \u201cWhile many are based primarily on academic achievement, some focus on other criteria.
