Members of the Class of 2027 May Apply Through Friday, Aug. 28<\/i><\/span><\/h3>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>WATERTOWN \u2014 <\/b>St. Lawrence County rising high school seniors may now apply for the Northern New York Community Foundation\u2019s Evergreen STEM Scholarship<\/b>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>The Community Foundation has extended this opportunity to members of the Class of 2027 through Friday, August 28<\/b>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Thanks to the generosity of Massena native and former Gouverneur resident Charles Owens and his late wife Higouhi and family, the Foundation\u2019s Evergreen STEM scholarship program awards ten, $3,000 scholarships annually to St. Lawrence County students.<\/p>\n

\\\"\\\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>High school students who are members of the Class of 2027 and plan to pursue studies in STEM-related fields \u2014 science, technology, engineering, and math \u2014 may apply for the scholarship through the Community Foundation\u2019s online scholarship portal, which may be accessed at bit.ly\/nnycf-scholarships<\/b><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Eligible students who may have previously started an application are highly encouraged to access the Foundation\u2019s scholarship portal and complete it by the August 28 deadline.<\/p>\n
