We are excited to share the Week 5 Scholarship Challenge Leaderboard!

In Jefferson County, Faith Fellowship Christian School held the lead with 100 percent student participation! Sackets Harbor Central remains a strong second with 50 percent participation; In Lewis County, Copenhagen Central took the lead, increasing to 37.84 percent student participation; and in St. Lawrence County, Colton-Pierrepont Central held onto its lead with 26.92 percent student participation.

Seniors: Money for your future is waiting! Do you plan to continue your education in college or trade or technical school? Complete the Community Foundation’s online common application at bit.ly/nnycf-scholarships today and help your school win!

All schools have a chance to win Community Foundation grant funding by increasing student participation in the scholarship program to at least 25 percent of the senior class.

Earlier this week, three school districts, one in each of the counties the Community Foundation serves, were selected as Round 1 Scholarship Challenge grant winners.

Congratulations to Sackets Harbor Central, Copenhagen Central, and Colton-Pierrepont Central schools. We appreciate your leadership and efforts to help your seniors secure support for their educational futures!

All tri-county schools still have time to compete for this year’s grand prize $2,000 Scholarship Challenge grant by increasing student participation in the Community Foundation’s scholarship program.

High school seniors who are continuing their education in college, trade, vocational, or technical school should apply by March 15 at bit.ly/nnycf-scholarships
