Members of the Class of 2027 May Apply Through Friday, Aug. 28
WATERTOWN — St. Lawrence County rising high school seniors may now apply for the Northern New York Community Foundation’s Evergreen STEM Scholarship.
The Community Foundation has extended this opportunity to members of the Class of 2027 through Friday, August 28.
Thanks to the generosity of Gouverneur natives Charles Owens and his late wife Higouhi and family, the Foundation’s Evergreen STEM scholarship program awards ten, $3,000 scholarships annually to St. Lawrence County students.
High school students who are members of the Class of 2027 and plan to pursue studies in STEM-related fields — science, technology, engineering, and math — may apply for the scholarship through the Community Foundation’s online scholarship portal, which may be accessed at bit.ly/nnycf-scholarships.
Eligible students who may have previously started an application are highly encouraged to access the Foundation’s scholarship portal and complete it by the August 28 deadline.
